Creative writing: Engage in peer review and focused revision centered around three writing workshops. Unique typography lab course. Get tactile with your text. Learn the art and process of handmade books in our typography lab, the department’s dedicated space for hand printing, type setting and paper making. The lab is also home to the student-run Aureole Press, which publishes volumes of limited-edition, fine press poetry. Working in small, collaborative teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of the publishing process and build connections with some of today’s most celebrated contemporary writers.
