The BA in Film and Screen Studies offers a unique combination of critical studies in film and hands-on film and video production that provides students with professional creative experiences and a well-rounded liberal arts education. As a student, you’ll develop a strong foundation in film history, film analysis, and film theory, as well as hands-on exposure to the technological aspects of film production and cinematic storytelling techniques and traditions through the use of professional 16mm film and HD video camera packages, lighting, and studio equipment. With a BA in Film and Screen Studies, your well-rounded and rigorous education will prepare you to pursue a career in the diverse media industry, or continue with a graduate education in critical studies or film, television, or digital media production.
