Bachelor of Arts in Spanish (The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences)

Arizona State University - Kaplan International

At the academic heart of ASU, this program is part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the university’s largest and most diverse college. Its world-renowned faculty include 15 National Academy of Sciences members, 3 Pulitzer Prize winners and 2 Noble Prize winners. In the Bachelor of Arts program in Spanish, students gain reading, speaking and writing proficiency through either the Spanish linguistics track or the Spanish literature and culture track. The linguistics track provides an in-depth understanding of the Spanish language. In contrast, the literature and culture track addresses issues throughout the Spanish-speaking world, as seen through the lenses of the Spanish language, culture and literature. Throughout the year, through study abroad and exchange programs, ASU offers opportunities to study in Spanish-speaking countries. The BA program is also available to online students as a combination of courses from both tracks. Students are encouraged to contact a school advisor to discuss the best option.
