What will I learn?

Get a new lease on life. A UNT Real Estate degree with a Residential Property Management concentration prepares you to make investment and management decisions. You'll explore aspects of real estate transactions, from residential to commercial to international, and learn about property appraisal, finance and management. The Residential Property Management concentration focuses on the multifamily housing industry and is available at a limited number of universities. It's been developed in consultation with the Texas Apartment Association and the Apartment Industry. Graduates will understand real estate and property management's legal environment, valuation of real estate assets and market research. The program is supported by a strong UNT Real Estate Alumni Group which contributes time, mentoring, internships and scholarships. An active Student Real Estate Club, one of the largest clubs on the UNT campus, organizes guest speakers, field trips and fun activities. Scholarships sponsored by the department are available and students also have earned scholarships from organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers Foundation and the Commercial Real Estate Women Network, as well as from generous and successful alumni.
