What will I learn?

Find growth and inspiration as a performer We provide an exciting environment for performance and study to help you develop into a well-rounded musician and prepare you to become an accomplished performer. You will receive intensive private instruction with faculty musicians, plenty of performance experience, and strong academic preparation for traveling your musical path. The defining activity of your time in the School of Music will be performance. Through performance experience, you'll develop poise and confidence and learn problem-solving skills transferable to other disciplines.

Entry requirements

For international students

Official transcripts from all secondary (high school) and post-secondary (college/university) education to your application for the admission evaluation (including vocational and ESL transcripts).Require a minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4-point scale for first-year and transfer students without an associate degree.Admission requirements - Individual program admission requirements over and above admission to NAU are required. Apply and be accepted to the Kitt School of Music. Application requirements include the following - 2 letters of recommendation. Audition (live or pre-recorded). Music theory placement exam. Visit the Kitt School of Music website for additional information.
