Practical experience for a strong future in accountingPacific’s four-year accounting degree dives deep into every aspect of the field, from financial and managerial accounting to auditing, tax and information systems. You will graduate fully equipped to launch a career in corporate, government or nonprofit accounting.In addition to the general education courses required by the University, the Bachelor of Science in Accounting curriculum requires a set of preprofessional skills courses in the areas of communication, mathematics and economics. Many of these courses also satisfy certain general education requirements. Students also progress through a series of courses in core business areas such as accounting, management, marketing and finance. In their junior year, students begin their intermediate accounting studies, and end the program with a series of advanced accounting courses including auditing, advanced financial accounting, cost accounting, and income tax accounting.Build essential skillsPacific’s accounting degree sets you up for success with 128 hours of coursework designed to meet CPA licensure requirements. In addition to the General Education courses required by the university, the accounting degree curriculum requires a set of preprofessional skills courses in the areas of communication, mathematics and economics.Business fundamentalsYou’ll explore core business areas like management, marketing and finance. In addition to the online application, you must also send the following to complete your application and be considered for admission:

Transcripts

  • Official, sealed copies of transcripts for all high school and college coursework are required for all freshman and must be sent to the Office of Admission.
  • Failure to acknowledge and submit all transcripts may be grounds to deny or revoke admission, to be dismissed from the University, or to have any degrees granted revoked.
  • Proof of graduation from high school in the form of a final transcript is required for all freshman and is due on or before the first day of class. GED or state high school equivalency exam may also be accepted.
