As a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA) student, you will be well-positioned to begin a rewarding career in a profession that will never grow obsolete. As long as businesses need to track finances, accounting professionals will always be in demand. You can expect an exciting and challenging hands-on education built on a foundation of the liberal arts, including valuable direct work experience through internships and exposure to management fundamentals, all led by highly motivated and experienced faculty. A hallmark of New England College is the close working relationship between faculty and students. Faculty pushes you to achieve your full potential, preparing you for a successful career in accounting. Hands-on internships are not only strongly encouraged and broadly supported at NEC they are required for Accounting majors. Recent accounting internships have included Bayer Corporation, Bloomberg Financial Services, Taconic International, Henniker Brewing Company, New London (NH) Hospital, Madison Earth Care, and William F. Sullivan, CPA.

Entry requirements

For international students

Official secondary school transcript or records (with English translation if necessary). Copy of a valid passport. New England College recognizes the IB curriculum as a challenging academic program that provides excellent preparation for university study. In most cases, credits are awarded for a minimum score of 5 on Standard Level (SL) exams and minimum score of 4 on Higher Level (HL). Additionally, students who earn an IB diploma in English can have their English Proficiency Score waived.A maximum of 30 credits may be awarded for IB.
