An Agribusiness degree prepares students for work in an industry that has never been more important to the local, national, and global economies. Students in MTSU Agribusiness program learn about the importance of managing farms and supply lines that help meet those demands. MTSU farm labs include a fully operational dairy facility that produces the best chocolate milk and gives students hands-on experiences. Agribusiness majors seeking certification to teach agricultural education in secondary schools (grades 7-12) must complete (1) the Agribusiness major, (2) a minor in MTeach, and (3) professional agricultural education courses.
