UW-Stout's Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science (AMCS) program provides you with the option to select a concentration that reflects your interests and career goals. Our program is designed to teach strong analytical skills and technical abilities through hands-on experiences.Our students are exposed to mathematics, computer science, statistics and many facets of business - management, marketing, accounting and economics. They develop the qualities that the business world is looking for in college graduates - interpersonal skills, ability to solve problems, self-motivation and good judgment. Students pursuing this concentration are interested in working in a business environment using their mathematical and computer skills to lead projects, manage departments, or start their own technical business.
