What will I learn?

This program is available at the following location: This program provides students with the fundamentals and design principles of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems lighting systems and structural systems. Students also learn the fundamentals of building construction management and electrical systems. The program emphasizes integration of technical content across Architectural Engineering disciplines as well as with the Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management programs. The capstone sequence provides students with an authentic engineering design experience where student teams collaborate to complete a comprehensive building design including detailed drawings and specifications. Students also prepare individual and team design reports, and present their designs to a panel of industry mentors. The Architectural Engineering program prepares students to become leaders in the design and construction of buildings. Major Code: 826

3.0 GPA High school diploma or IB Diploma with minimum overall score of 26 or IGCSE 5 subjects with a 3.0 average using NCAA scale (9-7/A=4, 5-6/B/C=3, 4/D/E=2, F/G=1, 3-1/U=0). Subjects must include Math, English, Science, 2 electives.
