What will I learn?

Chemistry is more than learning how to balance equations and memorize the periodic table. At UIndy you will see the world as a place full of chemistry – from the reactions in the environment, to the digestion of food, to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Looking through a chemist’s eye, you'll also develop an understanding of the ethical implications of chemistry in society as you learn the process of scientific investigation and interpretation of findings.
The chemistry concentrations provide you with a foundation tailored to your chosen career field, along with training and support for further education. You will learn from dedicated and knowledgeable faculty in a fun but focused environment, allowing you to study the things you are passionate about in a way that makes sense for you.
