The biosystems engineering environment and natural resources option focuses on identifying biological mechanisms and designing systems to restore water and soil resources to more natural states in the face of urban development and climate and land use changes.If you are intrigued by natural ecosystems and how humans, animals and plants interact with available water, variable soils, and surrounding air quality, this degree option would be a good fit for you. Engineering devices, management strategies and geospatial and predictive model development targeted at improving the quality of our natural resources and environmental sustainability are tied into the curriculum.
