To prepare for these careers, you will build skills in both electrical engineering and computer science. You will learn not only about the software side of computing technology, but also about the design of computer chips, circuit boards, control systems and other electronic hardware. You will learn to apply your broad-based knowledge and technical skills to develop computing technology for instrumentation, control and communication and power-conversion systems.
