What will I learn?

Get the tools needed to succeed in this rapidly growing field. The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program prepares project managers to serve in leadership positions in the ever-growing field of construction. Graduates will be able to manage projects of all sizes, ranging from residential housing to office buildings to roads and other local, regional, and national construction projects. You'll acquire the following skills during your time in the program: Ability to select appropriate construction materials and determine best practices. Ability to estimate costs and quantities and evaluate materials for construction projects. Ability to manage a construction project. How to function as an effective member or leader on a technical team. Understanding of written, oral, and graphical communication in technical and non-technical environments. Understanding of the principles of construction management, law and ethicsGraduates of the program can expect to be trained on project management and how to communicate technical and structural project aspects with engineers and other practitioners within the construction field.

Entry requirements

For international students

Beginning freshman from international high school:- Graduation from a high school recognized by the home country ministry of education, Official transcripts/diplomas (in native language and English) showing all courses and marks of final three years of secondary school Students with a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher are guaranteed admission to UNT. Students' GPAs will be standardized on a 4.0 GPA scale once transcripts are submitted. Beginning freshman from U.S. high school:- Minimum of three years and graduation from an accredited high school in the U.S., Official transcripts, showing rank in class through at least junior year, plus graduation date, U.S. graduates only. Send SAT or ACT scores
