Criminal justice degree at UMHB is based on the concept of a global community. Students are encouraged to explore the various aspects of the criminal justice system to prepare for either an entry-level position or graduate school. Courses and the student associations are designed to provide an incorporation of ''hands-on experience'' to enhance learning. In addition, students are fortified in and out of the classroom with continual peer support and mentorship from students and faculty. There are many career paths available in criminal justice beyond the usual expectations of policing and corrections the program prepares you to become an agent of social change within a chosen community.
