What will I learn?

The Cybersecurity Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills of computer security, including theory, tools, and best practices. It seeks to prepare the student for careers in many areas of cybersecurity work including cyber analytics, penetration testing, network security, digital forensics, and cybersecurity operations and management careers. The Cybersecurity program seeks to- Identify and apply theories and processes related to information security, assurance, and cybersecurity. Apply security and cyber defense principles to the planning, implementing, and monitoring of cybersecurity mechanisms to help ensure the protection of information technology assets. The ability of ethical decision-making and professional integrity. Identify and analyze organizational problems relating to information assurance, security, and its implications on value creation and defense.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students should submit official school records with a minimum 2.5 GPA on the US 4-point scale. Official school records not in English must be accompanied by a word-for-word translation to English. The translation is not required to be certified.

  • IELTS (Academic) - Overall Band: 6.0 (No section band lower than 5.0)

  • MET - 65

  • DET - 100 (No sub score lower than 90)
  • High School Exams: SAT - 500; IB exam - 5; AP exam - 3.0; KCSE (Kenya) - B
  • Graduate Admission Exams (good for 5 years after test date): GRE - 32nd Percentile (%) and above; GMAT - 425
