Our cybersecurity degree program provides you with mentoring and networking opportunities led by cybersecurity specialists that will be invaluable to your career. Not only will you develop in-demand skills as part of this program, but you’ll also gain the foundational skills and advanced knowledge that will help you prepare for the CompTIA Security+ and ISC2 CISSP certifications relevant to cybersecurity careers across the nation. With 15 full-time faculty teaching and researching cybersecurity, Pace University's Seidenberg School is the first stop for cybersecurity education and training. Seidenberg faculty have earned millions of dollars in grants in cybersecurity research, and the Seidenberg locations in New York City and Westchester are hubs of cybersecurity expertise. Expert faculty like Li-Chiou Chen, Darren Hayes, and Joe Acampora will take you through the theory and practice of cybersecurity. With three academic labs and research centers, including the Cyber Range, faculty conduct cutting-edge research in computer forensics, risk, software and data security, human factors, and much more.

Entry requirements

For international students

Official transcripts, diplomas, and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English). Send a photocopy or fax of your valid passport/national identity card displaying your photo and name. Two letters of recommendation (PDF) from a teacher or counselor who knows you well and can attest to your academic potential and personal characteristics. Letters of recommendation are not required for international transfer students.One essay/personal statement, approximately 250-650 words in length, which will assist the Admission Committee in reviewing your application. The essay/personal statement you submit must consist solely of your own original work.We also consider the GPA (Grade Point Average) that is indicated on your high school transcript. We generally look for students in the top 50% of their class. For schools that don't use a ranking system, we consider a 2.5 GPA or higher to be the equivalent. Finally, the Office of International Admissions conducts a holistic review of each application that includes a careful review of the following documents; letters of recommendation, personal statement / essay, and extracurricular activities.
