From birth to second grade, early life experiences have a lasting impact on later success. Our bachelor’s of science in early childhood education was created to support the development of all young children, including those who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse, with a focus on using developmentally effective approaches to build a meaningful curriculum for our youngest learners. The Early Childhood Education program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in early childhood education.Embrace technology. From your sophomore year, you’ll participate in immersive fieldwork and student teaching experience that include tutoring and small group instruction.
