What will I learn?

Teachers with a physical education and health education degree use their specialized knowledge of sports and holistic sciences to teach children lifelong good health and physical activity habits – and have fun doing it. The BGSU physical education and health education Bachelor of Science in Education (PEHE) program is a dual-degree program that makes our graduates twice as marketable when it comes to finding a teaching job in PreK-12 schools. Physical education and health education teachers are passionate about promoting fitness and mind-body wellness. They are role models, mentors, coaches and confidants. They encourage positive lifestyle choices and actively reduce health disparities by advocating for more equitable access to physical activity and health resources.
