Electrical Engineers apply electronic and electromagnetic/optical principles to design, build, and test analog or digital devices, circuits, and systems for processing, communication, and storage of information distribution, conversion, and storage of energy and process automation or robotics. Application areas include communication, manufacturing, power and energy, health care, computing, security, entertainment, and many others.You’ll learn how the motion of electrons lights up the world and fundamentally changes the ways we live. You will use your imagination and technical skills to analyze, design, and build systems to make our world even a better place. You will also learn skills in communicating effectively with a range of audiences. Graduates will have the opportunity to work in a variety of professional fields. They vary from research to design, from development to manufacturing, from production to service. Electrical engineers may also choose to combine their technical education with other responsibilities to work in many other fields such as management, business, law, medicine, and politics.
