This program is available at the following location: Options available: The Bachelor of Science and Honors Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.ABET.org. Industrial engineering is the application of science, mathematics, and engineering methods to complex system integration and operation. Because the systems with which they work are so large and complex, industrial engineers (IEs) must develop expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, the ability to work well with people, and a broad, systems perspective. All IE graduate students learn advanced methods of system integration and operation. IE graduates analyze and design facilities, material handling systems, manufacturing processes, information systems, and workstations. They also develop, apply, and oversee policies, procedures, and algorithms for production planning, inventory control, resource allocation and scheduling, quality assurance, and supply chain management. The Bachelor of Science and Honors Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.ABET.org, which requires stated program educational objectives and student outcomes to support these. OSU Industrial Engineering graduates receive an innovative education, and within 3 to 5 years of graduation will have: Major Code: 323

Entry requirements

For international students

3.0 GPA High school diploma or IB Diploma with minimum overall score of 26 or IGCSE 5 subjects with a 3.0 average using NCAA scale (9-7/A=4, 5-6/B/C=3, 4/D/E=2, F/G=1, 3-1/U=0). Subjects must include Math, English, Science, 2 electives. SAT: evidence-based reading/writing score of 560ACTE (ACT English) - 21Two English composition courses (Writing 121+) with grades C- or better or one English composition and one Speech Communication course (Communication 111+) with grades C- or better, all from a US university.IGCSE O or A Level English with a grade of C or better (provisional results not accepted)IB Diploma: Language A - Language and Literature (HL) with a minimum score of 5AP English L & C - minimum score of 3
