The Kinesiology degree with a concentration in Exercise Bioenergetics prepares students for academic, industry, and research careers in the areas of clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, research in human health and disease, human performance, and aging. This multidisciplinary program combines study in exercise science, kinesiology, biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition to better understand how production and utilization of energy can be used for healthy living and exercise across the lifespan. Students in this concentration take courses in human anatomy, human physiology, chemistry, biochemistry, weight training, aerobics, nutrition, sports nutrition, group exercise leadership, the physiology of exercise, the principles of conditioning the athlete, and more.
