Mechanical engineering technologists play a key role in industries like aerospace, automotive, manufacturing and consumer goods by making sure products work properly and processes run efficiently. In The University of Akron’s Mechanical Engineering Technology program, you’ll learn engineering fundamentals that prepare you to operate machines, test products and improve manufacturing systems. A degree from UA gives you the skills to design, test, build and maintain the mechanical components and systems used across many industries. Entry requirements

For international students

The SAT or ACT is not required for admission or scholarship consideration for applicants.
