What will I learn?

Design recreation facilities to benefit communities. With this program, you'll examine ecotourism and sustainable development, and the related impacts of transportation, lodging, and cultural issues. You'll learn to employ effective strategies to address cultural differences, values, and expectations for recreation programs. In addition, coursework in accounting and budgeting will give you the skills to operate recreation facilities and areas that increase tourism and enhance the quality of life in communities. Emphasis This degree is an emphasis within the Parks and Recreation Management program. This specific emphasis may not be available at every location.
