Bachelor of Science in Physics - Interdisciplinary Physics

Intended for students who seek to apply their scientific training in a career outside of physics, this concentration allows students to combine a core physics curriculum with a minor from another field. Possible minors include Journalism or Technical Writing for students pursuing a career in science writing, Economics for students interested in business, or Biological Sciences for students interested in biophysics. For students who wish to apply a physics degree to a career outside of physics, the department offers a concentration entitled Interdisciplinary Physics. This concentration combines a major in physics with a minor in a second field of the student's choice with their advisor's consent.
