Our bachelor's degree program combines classroom curriculum with practical experience in community service and involvement, guiding students to a fulfilling career in the vast field of rehabilitation. Our bachelor's degree program combines classroom curriculum with practical experience in community service and involvement, guiding students to a fulfilling career in the vast field of rehabilitation.As a Rehabilitation Studies major, you will: Explore the social, psychological and physical impact of disabilities. Understand the human service delivery system and how to effectively collaborate with other professionals. Gain skills in advocacy, case management, interpersonal communication and problem solving. Become knowledgeable about intervention techniques and providing services for people with disabilities. In addition to pursuing the Rehabilitation Studies major, you can pursue specialized minors and academic certificates. The minors and certificates can prepare you for state licensing exams or be used for other personal or professional application.The Career Center, Learning Center and our team of professional academic advisors are among the valuable resources available to you at UNT. The Career Center can provide advice about internships, future employment opportunities and getting hands-on experience. The Learning Center offers workshops on speed reading, study skills and time management. Academic advisors will help you plan your class schedule each semester.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must have Graduation from a high school recognized by the home country ministry of education. English Language Proficiency: IELTS - Overall band 6.0 or higher; TOEFL - Internet-Based (IBT): 79; Paper-Based: 550; PTE - Score of 53 or higher.
