The Lamar University Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Dance with a concentration in design and tech prepares students for a career in professional live entertainment industries and in academia. Through traditional classroom work and experimental learning, students will become experts in a broad range of design and technical trades in a film or stage production setting. This program gives you access to a wide variety of our university's resources. LU Theatre's three stages serve as laboratories for hands-on training. You participate in all phases of our production program, including a wide range of theatrical works and dance concerts on-campus and throughout the state and nation.
