Lamar University's Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Dance with a Teacher Certification concentrating in theatre offers a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for a career in theatre education. This program includes courses in acting technique, directing, performance and pedagogy, along with dance and in primary and secondary education. The goal of this program is to develop, deliver and assess theatre content for students of multiple ages in a variety of educational settings.
