To be admitted into WMU's musical arts program, you must successfully complete the school's audition and testing program, held each November, January and February.Students are required to take at least four hours of repeatable ensemble electives including for several of the University’s renowned choruses, bands and orchestras. Most ensembles are by audition only. The performing ensembles at WMU have assumed a significant role in the cultural, educational and aesthetic environment of the greater University community.
