What will I learn?

The criminal justice major is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of careers as well as to enable experienced persons to expand their knowledge and improve their skills.Our graduates communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.Our graduates understand diversity of gender, race, social class, ethnicity, and sexuality in their own and other cultures and societies.Our graduates use critical thinking to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information and ideas from multiple perspectives.Our graduates will demonstrate the use of electronic databases to conduct literature searches, and use the peer-reviewed articles to access and synthesize information.Our graduates will demonstrate knowledge of statistical analysis and date organization.

Photocopies may be temporarily accepted if they are certified by an official at the American Embassy or a known world organization.Secondary School/University TranscriptsWe require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all incoming freshmen and transfer students.New international undergraduate students must take the residual ACT prior to registration for classes to assess their English skills for placement purposes. An additional placement exam may also be offered (depending on the ACT score) to ensure proper advisement into appropriate English courses.For other international students.
