BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering

The accelerated BS/MS program in Mechanical Engineering (MNE) allows outstanding mechanical engineering undergraduates to complete both undergraduate and graduate (MNE MS) degrees within five years, with nine (9) fewer credits than if taken separately. Students enrolled in the accelerated program may take up to nine credits of 500-level graduate courses (up to three courses) that are approved for the MNE MS program in their senior year. Those 500-level courses double count towards their MNE BS-degree (as technical electives) as well as their MNE MS degree provided that the student obtains a grade of 'C' or better, and no more than two graduate course grades below 'B-' (B minus).
