What will I learn?

The Real Estate and Urban Land Economics Option provides the background for a wide range of career opportunities in addition to residential and commercial real estate sales. These areas include development, lending, banking, appraising, escrow, property management, and construction. Usually students who enroll in the real estate option will complete all courses necessary to take the California Brokers License Examination.Career opportunities in finance include, but are not limited to, the following:corporate finance - financial analyst, financial planning, project financeportfolio management - security analyst, stockbroker, investment banker, portfolio manager andbanking and financial institutions - commercial and residential loan officers, trust officer, marketing officer.

Entry requirements

For international students

Have graduated from high school (earning a high school diploma), have earned a Certificate of General Education Development (GED) or have passed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)

English language Score: TOEFL – 61 iBT, or IELTS – 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section, or ELS Language Centers - Level 112, or Pearson's Test of English – 45. Application Deadlines: Fall - July 1 and Spring - November 1.
