What will I learn?

Delivered by the highly ranked W. P. Carey departments of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, the STEM-designated MS program in business analytics builds on the quantitative skills and knowledge needed to advance on the analytics career ladder. Data is becoming vital to today's world, making business analytics specialists one of the most valuable careers. Students learn to extract value from data, lead data-driven projects and create an overall impact within business organizations. Two pathways are available for the master's degree program. The first pathway is the nine-month full-time program, and it is designed for individuals who want to immerse themselves in full-time graduate studies. The second is the online delivery option in which students deepen their skills in business analytics and learn more about evolving topics in this field. This option is designed for busy working professionals seeking to continue working full-time while attending school. As a STEM-designated master's degree, the program allows eligible graduates on student visas access to an Optional Practical Training extension for up to 36 months, helping international students gain additional skills and experience in the U.S. Los Angeles location: Currently, programs of study are offered in a hybrid learning model. Select courses are offered through in-person instruction in the Herald Examiner Building. The majority of courses are offered virtually from Arizona through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning technologies. Students should consult their advisor and schedule of classes for additional information.
