The Campus Arts & Culture certificate introduces you to the vibrant creative community at The University of Akron through performances, exhibitions and visits to campus cultural institutions. You'll engage with faculty, artists and arts professionals while exploring music, theatre, dance, visual art and other creative disciplines. With one core course and flexible electives that often count toward General Education requirements, this certificate is an easy way to enrich your college experience while broadening your cultural perspective. An introduction to arts and culture on The University of Akron campus. Students visit cultural institutions on campus and attend performances of the arts, then speak to practitioners and faculty representing arts and culture at UA. Complete the certificate by participating in arts and culture through UA coursework.
