What will I learn?

STEM-classified degree: graduates are eligible for 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. This program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Chemical engineering deals with the application of chemistry, physics and mathematics to the process of converting raw materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms. Chemical engineering also involves the design of valuable new materials and chemical products. The modern discipline of chemical engineering is intertwined with biology and biomedical engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering program in chemical engineering builds on a broad base of knowledge within the basic and mathematical sciences and engineering.

Entry requirements

For international students

3.0 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.) Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
