Study Community Health, B.A. at Humboldt State University (California State University, CSU) in the USA,

What will I learn?

The Community Health B.A. program utilizes multiple frameworks for a justice-oriented approach to community health. Our goal is to examine how social and physical environments intersect with personal behavior, and how these factors impact access to, and utilization of, health promoting programs. We engage in our community to examine the systemic changes needed to support the health and wellbeing of marginalized populations on individual and population levels.

This program prepares students for a variety of health care certifications such as:

Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Professional Patient Navigator, Oncology Patient Navigator Certified Generalist (OPN-CG) and Certified Patient Advocate
