What will I learn?

Established in 2015, the University of Central Missouri’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity is ABET-accredited and several program faculty are SANS GIAC certified. UCM's Cybersecurity department has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) since 2022. This standard of excellence extends to the Cyber Operations area for a high-value, affordable bachelor’s degree. Cyber operations focuses on day-to-day security operations ranging from defense to prevention. Unlike other options for a bachelor’s degree in IT, UCM’s Cyber Operations degree program blends deep working knowledge of the theory behind IT security along with technical expertise and experience.
