About this course

What will I learn?

The pharmacy practice four-year professional program, enables one to work as a licensed pharmacist, interacting with patients and other health care practitioners for matters involving treatment by medications. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students to serve as contemporary, compassionate, creative and scholarly practitioners, educators, researchers and leaders in the advancement of the pharmacy profession. The coursework involves biomedical sciences, clinical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice, and is integrated with patient-centered practice experiences.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • All science and math prerequisites are included in the EA GPA, including college courses permitted outside UB.
  • Earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA in all science and math prerequisites by the end of each of your second, third and fourth semesters (spring of first year, fall and spring of second year).
  • Complete all enrolled courses with a grade equal to or greater than C.
  • Appeals may be considered.
