What will I learn?

The doctoral (Ph.D.) program in Audiology consist of academic and research experiences, with an emphasis on basic and applied science. The Ph.D. degree programs are intended to prepare students for academic and research careers. Students who are admitted to the PhD programs in Speech-language Pathology or Audiology may also choose to complete interdisciplinary neuroscience coursework. The Concentration is a 4-course sequence that spans broad areas of Neuroscience and is meant to provide students with a breadth of knowledge across core disciplines. Your PhD will be awarded with the "Neuroscience Concentration" listed as an area of specialization on your degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. degree should possess a bachelors degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 semester credits of their undergraduate degree. If a candidate has a masters degree or AuD, a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their graduate work is required. In addition, the candidate should obtain a minimum percentile score of 40% in the Verbal section, 50% in the Quantitative section, and a 4.0 in the Writing section on the Graduate Record Examination taken within the last 5 years.
