What will I learn?

The Biomedical Sciences PhD program is an interdisciplinary program that combines biological and physical science. This program is intended to educate students in independent research and team collaboration within the field. Entering PhD students may request the option to receive a non-thesis Master of Science (MS) degree ''along-the-way'' that will be awarded after achieving candidacy. Requirements for the MS degree include successful completion of all courses (33 credit hours minimum), along with the requirements of the PhD program.
