The synthesis and processing of materials including polymeric and biopolymeric materials that have specific electrical, optical, or mechanical properties and understanding the associated formation processes that uniquely define their behavior is at the heart of our faculty research in this area. Faculties also research plasma processing and nanopantography to massively parallel nanopatterning over large surface areas.
