What will I learn?

The aim of Northeastern University’s School Psychology Doctoral Program (SPDP) is to train health service psychologists in the specialty of school psychology who are prepared to work within a variety of settings (e.g., schools, universities, clinics, and hospitals).Through coursework, research, and fieldwork experiences, students develop competencies across research, intervention, assessment, consultation and inter-professional/interdisciplinary skills, individual and cultural diversity, ethical and legal standards, supervision, professional values - attitudes, behaviors, and communication - and interpersonal skills.
