Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Admission decisions will be made based on the following:

• 3.0 GPA in the REQUIRED prerequisite courses.
• Volunteer Observation Hours. A minimum of 40 hours of volunteer experience under a licensed physical therapist. Documentation of volunteer experience is part of the PTCAS application.
• Volunteer Observation Hours must be completed in no more than 2 locations.
  • Applicants will need to provide the following information on the PTCAS application:
    • Facility Name
    • Facility Address
    • Phone Number of Facility
    • Name of Supervising Physical Therapist
    • Email Address of Supervising Physical Therapist
    • Number of Hours Completed
  • Self-reported hours (hours without the above information) will NOT be accepted.    
  • We no longer accept volunteer forms.
• Two references. One MUST be from a PT.
• Essay and Short Answer Questions.

• Interview.
