By completing this program, you can earn a Michigan Standard Teaching Certificate at a variety of grade levels which include Birth through K, PK-3, or 3-6. You can also add additional teachable areas to become one of the most prepared and marketable teaching candidates in Michigan. When completing the Early and Elementary Education program, you will focus on mastering your grade band(s) with a focus on literacy and mathematics skills while learning exciting and cutting-edge techniques to teach the material. You will practice your craft while completing your clinical experiences, which are woven throughout your program. In addition to becoming a highly prepared educator the curriculum will also help you to pass your teacher certification test and become a certified teacher in Michigan.
