What will I learn?

The bachelor of science degree in economics puts students on a path to work as a professional economist or to pursue graduate work in economics, public policy or business. The B.S. degree is STEM-designated and has an orientation toward statistical and mathematical skills. Students have the option of combining their degree with an accelerated master of arts (M.A.) in economics, with only one additional year of study.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must be enrolled in or have graduated from an accredited secondary school. SAT/ACT scores will not be required for students applying for Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027 admission. Students who choose not to submit test scores will not be disadvantaged and will remain eligible for merit scholarships.
