What will I learn?

Our Ed.S. in Counseling program is designed for professionals who hold a master’s degree in counseling, or a closely related field, and want to pursue further education and/or become certified school counselors. Rivier’s Ed.S. in Counseling program will hone your critical thinking skills and create an enhanced breadth of professional knowledge. For counselors working with specific populations, the program will help you develop greater expertise with that population or gain exposure to new ones. This is a 36-credit program, which includes internship credits and elective course options that enable you to tailor your degree to your individual professional interests.
