What will I learn?

Saint Louis University's graduate certificate in educational equity is designed for individuals who wish to identify, challenge and disrupt inequitable patterns in schools and communities. Coursework equips students with tools to talk about race and racism, respond to student disengagement in school, construct culturally responsive curriculum and build authentic relationships with youth from various racial groups, class backgrounds, language communities and sexual orientations. The certificate is intentionally designed to support equity initiatives currently underway in area school districts by providing a space where like-minded individuals can come together to share knowledge and collectively strategize.
