What will I learn?

The electromechanical engineering technology program offers an opportunity in interdisciplinary education, resulting from the implementation of electronics and computers in engineering systems. This major offers an individual plan of study with coursework in electronics, electrical, manufacturing, and mechanical areas, with appropriate prerequisite courses. It prepares graduates to work in instrumentation, controls, technical sales, and other areas requiring interdisciplinary preparation. Each program has a course sequence or a proper order in which to take classes. It is important that students take their classes following the course sequences provided by the department because foundational or prerequisite classes contain information that utilized in the upper level courses.
