What will I learn?

All of these everyday items require hours to design, prototype, test and mass produce at the lowest cost possible. Your curiosity in those details and efficiencies makes you the perfect candidate for an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Central Missouri. The Engineering Technology BS, with a focus in Industrial Engineering Technology from UCM puts you on the right track for a leadership role managing people and processes - the foundation of what industrial engineering technologists do. Our bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology focuses on applied learning of engineering theory. This happens in labs, not just the classroom. When you complete your Industrial Engineering degree, you’ll be prepared to easily transition to an industrial engineering job as a plant manager or high-level supervisor at a manufacturing or production facility.
