What will I learn?

Become a safety professional dedicated to protecting people, property and the environment with an Environmental, Safety and Risk Management degree from the University of Central Missouri. Safety professionals help companies streamline their operations, build new facilities and implement new technologies. As corporations grow and work environments become more regulated, organizations will depend even more on skilled people with Risk Management degrees to keep their facilities running smoothly and profitably. Our Environmental, Safety and Risk Management major is a Qualified Academic Program (QAP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). This means all graduates are eligible for the Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) designation for a competitive edge in an important field. You can choose to earn your bachelor’s degree for this Safety Sciences program on campus in Warrensburg or online. Earning your Risk Management degree online enables you to learn on your own schedule. You can complete your bachelor’s while maintaining your professional and personal commitments. Enroll part time or full time starting in the fall, spring or summer. Many of our students are able to earn their online Risk Management degrees in just two years.
